As we head south, we will pass the organized beaches of the island before reaching Saint Stefanos, a picturesque chapel built into the rocks of the Galissas area. The chapel holds a legendary story of a fisherman who prayed to Saint Stefanos and was miraculously saved from a giant octopus.
Next, we will navigate to the northern part of Syros, known for its unspoiled natural beauty. This protected area is famed for its crystal-clear waters, peaceful ambiance, and secluded beaches, far removed from the busy crowds. The landscape is a mix of rocky and mountainous terrain, with occasional vineyards and olive groves adding to its unique charm. Along this route, we’ll see the beaches of Grammata, Gria Spilia, Marmari, Lia, Avlaki, Aetos, and Varvarousa.
We can anchor at a beach of your choice, allowing time to swim, snorkel, relax, and enjoy the scenery. Local delicacies and refreshments, including wine or soft drinks, will be served to enhance your experience. For those seeking adventure, there is a cliff diving spot where you can leap into the clear waters from high rocks.
Weather Contingency Plan:
If weather conditions do not allow us to visit the Vaporia district or the shipwreck, we will adjust the itinerary for your safety and enjoyment. In this case, the tour will start from Kini (West of Syros). Here, you can also admire the stunning sea views and vibrant colors of the horizon.
